Individuals with a history of not following or conforming to tradition; not adhering to past practices or conventions
A college level program to help marginalized populations transform their lives so they can transform their community.
Now! Using non-traditional learning such as online learning, small group learning, and blended learning, has become an advantage.
We find ourselves going into tough communities to meet and work with individuals who have had to deal with hardship and trauma.
Nontraditional students are looking to unlock their careers and find better ways to support their families; quickly and with flexibility.
Students work in educational project teams. They utilize the power of technology and the freedom of virtual learning to help each other achieve success.
Our Nontraditional Scholars program gives marginalized students the tools and the space to connect their studies, work lives, aspirations, communities, and public values.
It is a program that provides them with emotional support, assistance in academic navigation, fostering healthier relationships, and building a new and stronger commitment within their community.
The spirit within our organization compels us to expand access not merely to college credentials, but to great, engaged, transformative learning. For just the same reason, and with the same sense of urgency,we understand our vision of equity needs to expand as well.
Our job is to help transform communities and transform lives. That being said, we make the commitment to engage this unique group of students whose lives and needs too often go unrecognized. Indeed, being unrecognized is at the heart of their struggle.
Students earn credit towards a certification, degree, or as the starting point for transitioning into trade school. Credits are transferrable and from nationally accredited higher learning institutions.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
